Dare To Dream

I am quoting from Paulo Coehlo when I say... There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: The fear of failure.

Fear dumbs you down, drains your energy and steals your joy.
Fear is the root cause of stress - and stress is the cause of almost all if not all  illness and disease.
Fear is a nasty business.

The good news is we were created to have the power to choose. We can choose to live our lives in truth and love... because we know that perfect love casts out fear So,let me ask you... What is holding you back from living your dreams?

Always remember that what ever it is you have experienced in your past, it does not define you, nor need it hold you back. The truth of who you are is far greater than that...... and you have the power to choose to live in that truth!

I have borrowed from the thoughts of Oriah Mountain Dreamer
when I ask you to consider the following:

It doesn't matter what you do for a living.
It is what you ache for,
And if you dare to dream of meeting
Your heart's longing.

It doesn't matter how old you are.
It is whether you will risk looking like a fool
For love, for your dream,
For the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't matter if your planets are squaring your moon.
But rather, have you touched the center of your own sorrow,
Have you been opened by life's betrayals,
Or have you become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain.

Can you sit with pain,
Mine or your own,
Without moving
To hide it or fade it or fix it.

Can you be with joy,
Mine or your own,
Can you dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes Without cautioning us to be careful, realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human.

I want to know if you can see beauty
Even when it is not pretty every day.

It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair,
Weary and bruised to the bone,
And do what needs to be done for the children.

It can be done....i know.....because I did it..... and so can you.

It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
From the inside
When all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone
With yourself,
And if you truly like the company you keep
In the empty moments.
